Boreham Wood

Boreham Wood, who were F.A. Trophy opponents of the Lilywhites in 1996, were founded in 1948 as a result of the amalgamation of Boreham Wood Rovers and the Royal Retournez. There original home ground was in Eldon Avenue before in 1963 they moved to Meadow Park.

Subs used were Andy Pincher for Parsons and Wayne Goddard for Retallick. Keith Lockhart scored for the Lilywhites in the 73rd minute, who were then losing two nil. Both of the goals for Boreham Wood were scored by Dominic Gentle. As in the Boreham Wood side was the former Luton Town star, Brian Stein, who was then thirty-seven.
