The New Milton Road Ground

The New Milton Road Ground is opened in 1985 when the Lilywhites entertain the Corinthans. The match ends in a two all draw.

In the summer of 1986, American Football is played at Milton Road.

The Cambridge Bear Festival starts a run of ten years at Milton Road in 1988

A record crowd for the new ground of 2,325 see the Lilywhites lose to a late goal to Hereford in the 1st round of the F.A. Cup. It is also the first time that they had been drawn at home at this stage of the F.A. Cup.

In 2005 the ground is sold to Ross River Ltd.

After eight years as tennants and doubts about the future of the ground, the last match is played there on April 27th, 2013. The Lilywhites beat Redbridge United 1 nil thanks to a goal from Adie Cambridge. Planning permission having been approved to build over 150 houses on the site, earlier in the year.

In mid 2012 bulldozers move on to the site to start demolishing the ground.
