Gary Roberts

Gary Roberts, who is the Lilywhites longest serving manager having held the post since 2003, is a true 'Cambridge City' person. Can you think of another manager who would be out forking the pitch on the afternoon of a re-arranged cup time to help make certain that that evening's match went on.

Gary Roberts, who was born in Rhyl, Wales on April 5th, 1960, own playing career had seen him scored 78 goals in 215 Football League matches for Brentford. His career at Brentford was later ended through injury.
