Boldmere St Michaels
Boldmere St Michael, who were founded as a church youth team in 1883 and are based near Sutton Coldfield in Warwickshire, were first opponents of the Lillywhites in the Final of the Amateur Football Alliance Senior Cup in 1948. The following year they met at the semi-final stage.

26.3.949 Boldmere St Michaels 0 - 1 Cambridge Town Semi Final Played in Cambridge at Grange Road, the goalscorer for the Lilywhites was Fergusson.
