Subs Sam Kelly for Lee and Will Lawton for Beasant. Despite fielding most of their first team players, the Lilywhites bad run of result continued as they crashed out of the Cambs Invitation Cup to Soham. One down after just 2 minutes when Buster Harradine scored the first of his 4 goals for Soham, he also had a penalty saved late in the match by Zac Barrett, the Lilywhites had pulled level in the 11th minute when Andrew Phillips had opened the Lilywhites scoring. Though by half time they were trialing 3-1. In the 49th minute they pulled one of the two back when Andrew Phillips scored from the penalty spot after Kelvin Bossman had been brought down in the penalty box. They could not score again and instead in the 72nd minute Soham added their 4th, which proved to be the last goal of the match. The two goals by Andrew Phillips were his first for the Lilywhites. The Soham team a number of players with connections with the Lilywhites. One of these included goalkeeper, Enol Ordonez who was on loan to Soham from Cambridge City. Amongst the former City players in their team were Joey Abbs and Ben Sawyer. This match was the 500th league and cup game that Lee Chaffey has played for the Lilywhites.
